Commonwealth Word is a non-profit organization based in Brooklyn, New York and operating there and in Virginia.  Founder and Director Jason Leahey’s fiction and non-fiction have been published widely in print and online in the United States and abroad, and he has worked as a teaching artist in New York and Virginia schools, libraries, and children’s hospitals since 2005.
